Well, I am still trying to figure all of this blogging thing out! With the help of my awesome friend Kaye...I am getting there!
We had a wonderful Christmas with the kids! Samuel was so funny this year! This was really the first year he was excited about having surprizes when he woke up! Ray has been out of work since before Thanksgiving sick...but we were blessed to still have Christmas for our kids and food on our table! God has provided and still showed himself faithful to us.
Samuel's birthday is 2days after Christmas! This year I entered him into a birthday contest and he won! Which was a huge blessing since Ray had gotten sick! He won a free party and birthday cake from Bi-Lo. I always over invite for his bday since his bday falls during the holidays and people may still be out of town. I LOVE birthdays and want to make my kids birthdays special! Well anyway, the party was good for 10 kids and after that I would need to pay extra. Ray and I had talked and said that would be fine since the party was free. This year his RSVP's were looking good. I had 15 comment and some of those had sibs which was totally fine. The party started @ 11:00a and we were told we could be there @ 10:30a.
Long story short.....The door was unlocked b/c of someone else being there working in an office upstairs that is rented out. No one was there that was to work the party. We finally went in and set up @ 10;50a because of quest showing up. Finally the owner showed up @ 11:35a (b/c someone called her...she forgot about the party). She never asked me for the $ for the extra kiddos....which was a good thing :0).
The kids never knew any difference, but I sure was embarrased! I forgot to give the treat bags out. I was so tore out of the frame!!!
But, Samuel had a wonderful time and got some great presents! He is a blessed little guy! I am so proud of him and CAN NOT believe his is 4!!!!
I am sure this is one long blog! I hope I didn't bore ya! Stay tuned for more to come!
